envyが、2015年より約5年振りのアルバム作品『The Fallen Crimson』をリリースする。
本作は、2018年11月に発売されたシングル「Alnair in august」発表後直ぐに制作を開始し、約1年間の製作期間で作り上げられた。今作に収録されている「Rhythm」は、Ropesや数々のアーティストのサポートボーカルを担当しているAchikoをゲストシンガーとして迎え入れ完成させた。
海外では2月7日（金）にTemporary Residence Ltd.（North & South America／Australia）、Pelagic Records（UK／EU／Russia）からのリリースとなる。
また、2月11日（火）には東京・恵比寿LIQUIDROOMにて〈『The Fallen Crimson』Release show〉を開催。詳細は後日アナウンスがされる予定。（横澤魁人）
